This is an update on my Simple SEC circuit.In this video i use a 1.5v emergency mobile phone charger which boosts a 1.5v AA battery up to 5.5 to run the circuit.This works really well and also makes this more reproducable.. I have not measured the amp draw off the charger yet. I also show that the wireless reciever circuit can be boosted by adding a trigger transformer and substantialy increasing Led brightness.

Is your charger plug really plugged in ALL THE WAY? If your "phone is not charging", "charging intermittently",or the "cord is not locking in", or the cord is "falling out of the phone", this video could quite possibly help you. My cell phone recently "stopped charging intermittently". Soon after, the charge plug also became loose, to the point it was falling out of my phone. I found a simple fix! Cleaning out the charger port of dust and debris.(micro USB type port is shown in this video and pictures) DISCLAIMER; - This video is shown as a sample of what "I did"! I WILL NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY for damage/ injuries/ problems that occur as the result of seeing/trying to follow this video! (I had to say that).

So I sold my MintyBoost to a friend... Here is what you need: (1) Breadboard (this is just for prototyping, you can solder this all on a circuit board.) (1) 5v wall adapter (I got mine as an old cellphone charger) (1)Female Type A USB Socket (2) 100k ohm Resitors (Brown Black Yellow) (2) Jumper Wires (Solid core works best) Optional (6)Pin headers (1)3mm LED (Indicator LED) (1) 10k ohm Resistor(for the LED) Further info: www.instructables.com
