This is a replication of an experiment by Slayer 007 (GBluer here at Youtube). It is an "exciter" circuit that is very simple. Power is supplied by a one AA cell phone charger that produces 5.5 volts to the main circuit. The cell phone charger is not required to make this operate and 4 AAs in series will also work. Dr. Stiffler's SEC tower's are used in this video and the effects shown are similar to what is produced from his SEC Exciter circuits. Many thanks go out to him for his sharing of knowledge on this subject. This is a facinating study.

What drew me to it was the fact that it used regular AA batteries, which is great because you can pretty much find them anywhere in the world. The unit's small size is also handy, making it perfect for "road warriors" that need an extra boost of energy when they are not close to an electrical socket or a 12V car charger. I just picked up what I consider to be an absolute necessity for the motovlogging adventure motorcyclist: the Opteka BP-SC4000 Ultra Thin Solar Charger and backup battery. This bad boy will charge my helmet cam, video camera, cell phone, GPS, USB rechargeable flashlight, or pretty much any other USB-powered device anywhere there's sun. Not only that, but it charges it QUICKLY. My Samsung Galaxy Vibrant phone took just a bit more than an hour to fully charge with this thing. For at amazon, this 5 watt solar charger is definitely worth it. This is going to be a staple for my KLR 650 motorcycle adventures to keep my tech stuff powered up. It fits perfectly in the "map window" of my tank bag, and will get plenty of sunlight to power my gadgets. It also charges an internal battery that stores power until the sun comes up again. No longer will my videos be cut short by a flashing battery symbol. Woot! Now if I could only get that $!@#*& focus to work.

I do not recommend paying for an unlock code, nor downloading a program that could easily corrupt your computer and/or phone. Customer service will provide you with this code for FREE, as well as the means of entering it. DO NOT BE SCAMMED! Note: I use AT&T. For unlocking a T-Mobile phone, they tend to be easier to obtain codes from (from what I hear). The only downside is that you must be a T-Mobile customer for a minimum of 90 days, with a history of good-standing payment. They've got a few other little reqs, but those are the major ones. Simply give them a call and ask. If you get a refusal, don't take no for an answer. They (AT&T) generally aren't supposed to give out unlock codes right away, but EVERY REPRESENTATIVE IS DIFFERENT. You may have no troubles as I did, you may spend an hour on the phone. It all depends on who you talk to, how you ask, and your history as a customer. Just make sure, no matter what, that they know that YOU know they can and do give out those codes. Just be ready with your IMEI and ask them the process of unlocking the phone, if you don't already know. Enjoy!

Simply give them a call and ask. If you get a refusal, don't take no for an answer. They (AT&T) generally aren't supposed to give out unlock codes right away, but EVERY REPRESENTATIVE IS DIFFERENT. You may have no troubles as I did, you may spend an hour on the phone. It all depends on who you talk to, how you ask, and your history as a customer. Just make sure, no matter what, that they know that YOU know they can and do give out those codes. Just be ready with your IMEI and ask them the process of unlocking the phone, if you don't already know. Enjoy!

New York City and surrounding areas had a big snow storm on Dec 26, 2010. The snow storm was so powerful that I had never seen for the past 10 years. Accordingly, the snow was 18 inches thick and there were 10000 flights canceled in all three airports in New York and New Jersey. Around 6:00pm, I returned home in New Jersey from New York city. For just 3 more miles, I would be home. Unfortunately, I was stuck in the snow in Route 280 W in New Jersey. For 18 hours, I had no food and gas. It was really a remarkable experience in my life. Here is the video created from my video clips and photos which were taken since I had nothing to do at that night. I put a nice-light-warm background music to cover this terrible-cold weather. From this experience, I would suggest you have the following things in your car, especially, in the winter snow time; 1. A blanket 2. Couple bottles of water 3. Some dry food (put in the trunk so it is not easy to get/eat when you are driving) 4. A battery backup charger or car charger for your cell phone 5. An empty gas tank (my son said with 1-2 gallon of gas, I think it may be to danger) 6. Several plastic bags for wrapping up your shoes to prevent your shoes get wet in case you have chance to walk away 7. A snow shovel is good to have. 8. Very important - Some daily use medicine. If you don't have, Aspirin (chewable tablet) is good. ASPIRIN (AS pir in) is a pain reliever. It is used to treat mild pain and fever. This medicine is also used as ...

Some problems I found with the Tmobile HTC G2 with Google phone. Loose hinge, and even wifi antennagate? Never really experienced the phone freezing though, as some claim. Mine was really fast, and the battery life was excellent, but due to this wifi problem and being unrootable (at least for now), I don't know if I'll be keeping the set. But the G2 is still a great phone, and do not let this review deter you from this fact. Check out the vid, and if it helped you make a decision on purchasing, then don't forget to give me a thumbs up!

If you have any old cell phone/pda/mp3/game console 12v car adapter you can make this project!
