Prototype Elyse II In this prototype, I am powering and charging portable mobile phones by wireless charging. The transmitter is made from 6AWG solid copper wire and 9inches in diameter. The receiver coils are made from 22AWG copper wires, with 2-3 turns (they are very thin and small). The two coils are resonating around 750kHz. The phones were able to simultaneously charge from 1-6 inches axially away from the transmitter. The next step requires integrating the circuit onto a PCB and placing it underneath the mobile phone. Future prototype will include more advance circuitry such as: auto shut-off, load detection, and charging indication. The next prototype will also focus on creating a uniform EMF on the transmitter side. Ultimately for near field energy transfer, I want to be able to create a charging station for various electronic devices including laptops.

So another new telephone lands in the Asha series, this time called the 302 and comes with 3.5g and wifi on board as well as a QWERTY keyboard and 3.2 mpix camera. Available in a series of colours and with bluetooth, radio, 32gb support it seems to be a great addition to the series. 10 hours talk time on 2g and with a 1GHZ Processor it seems to be fine when you need instant access to emails, facebook, twitter and a multi amount of social nets are supported. Mine sadly died, it was not a charging issue but something else so the phone has now been returned. More news of that and a better look when / if this model lands back here. Seems was a bad cell in the battery or something firmware related as charged a little then an error came on and device changed into local mode.

This is a PC board I made so I can charge a 48V seal lead acid battery from any 12VDC source. This design is simple and uses an off-the-shelf audio crossover coil. It charges my battery from a 12V source that gets switched on once the sun goes down. In the morning my batteries are ready to go and it didn't cost me anything. Energy from the sun. However I can use with and 12V source that can provide 2-3 amps of power. There is a special circuit that will stop the SMPS once the battery level low around 11 volts. Next day the sun comes up and charges the 12V battery.

This is a video on how to fix the left ear phone from cutting in and out of sound. This is the logitech wireless headset. This video was done from my cell phone because I had people asking how I fixed mine. Skill: -Basic de-soldering and soldering -Steady hands would be nice as everything is pretty small. -Magnifying glass will also help Tools: -Small philips screw driver (+) -Small precision flat head (-) -Butter knife or pry tool -Soldering Iron -de-soldering iron (recommended) Materials: -Solder -Donor set of earphones (ear bud style recommended) So I'm not the greatest tutorial maker in the world, but I just wanted to put this video up for people that have the same problem as I did and want to fix it without paying for logitech to fix it or having to buy another. This is a great headset, and for the prices you can find them for now, I think they are definitely worth it. I got mine off of ebay for shipped and it was refurbished so I received it in an RMA bag. Since logitech would not cover the sale (ebay) under any warranty, I couldnt have them fix it, so I figured out how to do it on my own. After some extensive searching for a disassembly, i found nothing. So I took things into my own hands, and figured it out. Thankfully I didnt break anything. I did accidentally drop my soldering iron on my head set for a second and it kind of melted one of the plastic pieces, but no major damage, plus its covered by the padding lol.

I have been a huge fan of Nokia' attempt in becoming the #1 WP device and firm believer they are. Thankfully, I was with Chris & Diana Pirillo at a great breakfast with Nokia US (@NokiaUS). They gave me one of these awesome, light weight chargers called the Extra boost. If you attach a USB Host connector, you can steal power from your friends Android device, or that's what I think. This circuit converts 12V DC from solar panel and battery storage system and produces 48V DC (60V) to charger the battery pack in my DAYMAK Austin electric bike. Faster charge than OEM charger. Great for someone driving an RV from campground to campground with an e bike on the back for short trips once they get to their destination. This circuit will keep the batteries fully charged and ready to go. You can also use this with a 12V battery charger charger if you original charger has given up the ghost. Or you could have a solar panel charge a battery during the day and use the energy stored to charge your electric bicycle or EV for "free" at night. Automatic circuit switches to trickle charging after battery is completely fast charged.
